GIFT Politecnico Milano
Yuki participated with the Politecnico di Milano in the drafting of the GIFT project “enGIneering For sporT for all” in response to the Polisocial Award 2019 of the Politecnico di Milano. GIFT has obtained the funding by placing itself in the first place. The project aims to realize and experimentally validate new orthoses that allow hemiplegic children to practice the sports activities proposed in the hours of physical education of the primary school and during free time, to promote the possibility of a “Sport for all”.
The final of the #Beinclusive EU Sport Awards took place May 4, 2022,
awards for projects that promote social inclusion through sport.
For the seventh edition of the awards, the field was full of wonderful choices: the jury received 87 proposals.
Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth awarded the winners for each of the 3 prize categories.
The GIFT project in which YUKI participated reached first place in the Breaking Barriers category !!

The European #BeInclusive Sports Awards aim to recognize the best projects that have successfully achieved social inclusion through sport. The projects involve disadvantaged, disadvantaged or marginalized groups, i.e. individuals with a difficult social, economic or educational background, as well as people with disabilities, health problems or cultural differences such as migrants, refugees, people belonging to ethnic minorities or suffering from geographical barriers.
